LightXP is a Maineville-based authorized Gemstone Lights dealer — not a national call center with a map that lights up half the Midwest. We install permanent outdoor lighting as a home upgrade, not cheap holiday décor, on streets we can reach, install, and service in January.
Searching for permanent Christmas lights or outdoor lighting in Cincinnati and Dayton? Here is who we serve, where we prefer to work, and how farther jobs still work when the project fits.
Home base: Maineville, Ohio
Our shop is at 1228 Carrington Place, Maineville, OH 45039. That is not a PO box for branding. It is where the local crew is based.
From Maineville, the sweet spot — where we prefer to work — is the Cincinnati–Dayton communities we know best. Ads and search planning pin Maineville and Cincinnati with a roughly 25–35 mile core reach because crew days and January service line up cleanly there.
That preferred map is not a hard fence. We also install farther when the project fits — Northern Kentucky, the Columbus corridor, and other nearby addresses — if schedule, travel, and after-sale service still make sense. Ask us. “Preferred” is not “never.”
Preferred / core communities (north side + Cincinnati named cities)
These are the named communities we know best — the preferred sweet spot and the core of our day-to-day planning. Distance, follow-up, and January service usually line up cleanly here:
- Maineville — home base
- Mason
- Loveland
- Lebanon
- Indian Hill
- Madeira
- Montgomery
- Cincinnati (citywide when the address is reachable)
- Dayton (when we can keep the schedule for that address)
North-side Mason / Loveland / Maineville / Lebanon is our natural corridor. Indian Hill, Madeira, and Montgomery fit the same premium-home upgrade story: color-matched track, app control, warm white on a Tuesday, color when you want it.
If your house sits in one of these communities — or on a nearby street in the same belt — you are in the heart of who LightXP is built for.
Cincinnati neighborhoods (including Hyde Park)
Greater Cincinnati is more than downtown. We publish and often reach neighborhood communities when install and local service work.
Hyde Park is one example: a city-page treatment for homeowners wanting permanent Christmas lights — Observatory / Square–side stock, hillside streets, curb appeal that benefits from architectural track rather than yearly clips. Other Cincinnati addresses are fair game when we can keep them on the book.
Honesty check: “Cincinnati” in an ad does not mean every alley this week. Send the address. We will say yes or no without theater.
Dayton corridor & nearby communities we publish for
Toward Dayton — and across the river into Northern Kentucky — we publish for communities we often serve. Scheduleability still matters; it is not a blanket “every ZIP this week.”
- West Chester
- Springboro
- Centerville
- Liberty Township
- Fort Thomas, KY (Northern Kentucky — part of the broader market we work when the job fits)
City pages exist because homeowners there search for permanent outdoor lighting. We frame them as communities we publish for / can often reach, with honesty that crew day and January service still have to work.
In Springboro, Centerville, West Chester, Liberty Township, Fort Thomas, or elsewhere in Northern KY? Ask. Same standard as Dayton: we will tell you how the calendar looks for your address.
Who is a fit
You are a strong LightXP fit if:
- You are a homeowner roughly 30–65 looking at a lasting exterior upgrade
- You want permanent Christmas lights / outdoor lighting that stay up — warm white most nights, color for holidays and game days
- You care about daytime look (color-matched track) and local accountability after install
- Your home is in our preferred Cincinnati–Dayton belt (the named communities above) — or you are farther out (Northern KY, Columbus corridor, other nearby) and the project still makes sense for a local crew
- You prefer a local authorized Gemstone dealer with a local crew over DIY kits or remote-only brands
Commercial work exists too (buildings people drive past — ranches, grills, and similar storefronts). This article is primarily residential who-we-serve; if you need commercial permanent lighting in the same geography — or a bit farther — say so on the proposal form and we will route it honestly.
Farther installs & who isn’t a fit
Farther is ask-us, not automatic no. Northern Kentucky, the Columbus corridor, and other nearby markets are fair to inquire about — we take those jobs when travel, schedule, and after-sale service still make sense. Preferred work stays closer to Maineville and the Cincinnati–Dayton communities we know best; that preference is efficiency, not a ban.
We would rather be straight early:
- Addresses where we cannot keep install and realistic follow-up (we will say so)
- DIY tire-kickers hunting the cheapest clip-on kit — different product category
- Anyone needing a promise we cover “everywhere in Ohio” on demand — we do not claim that
Unsure? Text the city and street.
